PSA: You can have a Queenstown wedding package and PSA: You can have a Queenstown wedding package and still invite your friends. Quite a lot of them, actually.⁠ ⁠ Wedding packages are often associated with elopements, but ours don’t stop at two people. Alongside our elopement options, we have Intimate Wedding Packages for up to 25 people and Small Wedding Packages for weddings of 25 to 60 guests.⁠ ⁠ And these are proper weddings. Ceremony, guests, reception, food, drinks, flowers, photography and all the celebrating that comes with having your favourite people in Queenstown with you.⁠ ⁠ Depending on the package, you could get married at a chapel, on a rooftop, at Walter Peak, Millbrook Resort, NZ High Country, a private estate or another carefully chosen Queenstown setting. There are also custom options if none of the existing packages quite fit what you have in mind.⁠ ⁠ The point of choosing a package isn’t to give you a cookie-cutter wedding. It gives you a starting point, with many of the big pieces already brought together by people who know the venues, suppliers and logistics involved.⁠ ⁠ Which can be particularly useful when you’re sitting in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland or halfway around the world trying to work out how on earth you organise a wedding in Queenstown.

What followed was the largest gold rush Otago had seen, with miners arriving in their hundreds hoping to make their fortune.⁠ ⁠ More than 160 years later, the river is still at the centre of life here… although these days, we’re much more likely to be standing beside it with a bouquet than a gold pan. (Although you still can go and find yourself some gold!)⁠ ⁠ That's just one of the things that we love about getting married in Queenstown. For others, it reflects how they see marriage itself. And some simply like the idea of experiencing that first walk into the ceremony side by side.⁠ ⁠ The traditional entrance can be incredibly meaningful when it means something to you.⁠ ⁠ But tradition is an option, not an instruction manual. One small piece of advice for anyone writing their One small piece of advice for anyone writing their own vows… Don’t make remembering them part of the challenge. Write them down. Wedding-day nerves do funny things to perfectly capable brains, and there’s absolutely no prize for delivering your vows from memory.
